About This Show

Show Rating: PG-13 with Mild Profanity and Substance Abuse

From October 25 to November 4, 2018, Broward College's Theatre Department will present Shelagh Stephenson's The Memory of Water. The play tells the story of three sisters who come together after the death of their mother. Together, they relive the past (often with different recollections of the same event) in hilarious and deeply moving ways. As The Globe and Mail report, The Memory of Water skillfully charts the joyous and painful territory of family relationships with insight and compassion. Winner of the Olivier Award for Best Comedy, the play is a heart-rending yet highly entertaining treatise on human nature and what we leave behind after death.

Performances take place Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre located on Central Campus at 3501 Davie Road, Building 6, Davie, Florida 33314.
