Dead Man's Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl

About This Show

Rated R
for mature themes, brief violence, and profanity.

Jean, a woman in a café, cannot stand the incessant ringing of her neighbor's cell phone any longer and answers it. She discovers the man the phone belongs to has died, and goes down a path to attempt to keep his memory alive through technology. Her journey leads her to the man's family, his mistress, and situations she never dreamed she would be involved in. Dead Man's Cell Phone is a surrealistic, darkly comedic journey down the rabbit hole that raises questions on our modern day use of technology - does it help us or does it harm us?
